Things start to make sense to everyone else long after it has made sense to you. It is a funny circle that’s really annoying. But it is a process folks usually don’t escape. It will make sense, and then it won’t. And then it will make sense again, and then it won’t. So then, you can go the right way or the other way round. And you can keep circling the mountain even though you’re aware that the stress is drying you up. Nobody likes to keep chasing the wind all over the place, but this endless journey is one too common. When desires don’t deliver and expectations are not met, it is an indication that you need to take a solid stand for things to fall into place.
The first step to getting what you want is having the courage get rid of what you don’t want. It’s okay to feel terrible in trying to break free. But it is not okay to dwell there. It is not okay to fold your arms and sulk all day long. Most of these battles exist only in the mind so you need to get up and fight if you have to. Fight for your sanity. Protect your dignity. Ignore the negativity – no – change that negativity – and take a solid stand.
So you might want to start looking into certain things you have probably accepted because you felt you had no choice. Keep asking yourself, “What are the things that frustrate me?” “What are those things that make me cringe?” What are the things that clog my desires and expectations.”
“What are those things that make me wanna….”
Yea, those things. That’s a good place to start.
