Less is relative, just as much as success is. There are no two ways about it; one man’s food is another man’s poison. We’re all presented with chances. Life happens – true – but everything you are today is as a result of your responses. So, let’s just say it will all come down to one single question in the end:
What Do You Really Want?
If you don’t know exactly what you want, how can you tell what you don’t want. Boy! Some things feel really good. But trust me, I know what folks mean when they say every glittering thing is not gold. If it is gold, you will have to check to be sure it is your gold. If it is not in alignment with your life purpose or dreams…well, there are no two ways about it: my dear, you are settling for less!
The thing with settling for less is that, it’s not like you believe your chances are streamlined: it is not having enough courage to stand. If we’re brave enough we can hear our hearts wisdom through it.
Whether it is a relationship you’re dealing with or a project you want to embark on, you’ve got to look deep within before accepting the offer. Ask yourself, “What does this really mean to me?” Sometimes, things happen so fast, you barely have the time to catch your breath, and you might even have to stoop really low to achieve something that will be worth it in the long run. All of that won’t matter in the end. What you really want and how true it is to you are the stuffs that does.
