I Am Free

I thought my eyes were dragging out forever;
Like a bee that can’t make honey,
The wound just sank deeper,
It was over;
You came,
And touched
Me with the douse
Of your amazing love;
Like a bird in the sky I am,
Free at last from boundless claustrophobia,
The spinning walls were closing in on me;
A sky that is never sunny,
And your sweet tender kiss,
Encouraged me;
To spread
My wings,
I’m lifted up,
For all the world to see,
Where I know I am meant to be;
Free at last from boundless claustrophobia.
