Every day do something that will inch you closer to a better tomorrow – Dough Firebaugh
On fulfilling your purpose —
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice. Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and think of what could go right. Making excuses for why you can’t get things done will do nothing but hinder you. Instead, focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen. The problem with your work, most times, is not the problem. It is your attitude about the problem.
I don’t remember who did, but someone once told me, “don’t bother yourself with doing great things; just do the little things you can do in a great way.”
It’s important to give it all you have while you have the chance. People who are too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage yours. Expect the best. Prepare for the worst
Whatever you do, develop the habit of thinking positive. There’s just something that puts every other preparation in place. Beyond every purpose and vision and dream and hope. Beyond every achievement and badge. And beyond position and all its paraphenalia —
Attitude is everthing
It’s easy to feel good about what you do when the people around you are praising you and backing you up but it feels amazing when you can still feel good about what you do when you’re being ridiculed. Let the refining and improving of your own life keep you so busy that you have little time to criticize others.
Don’t think outside the box. Think like there is no box.
